Travel demand modeling is an important component of many transportation studies. It allows decision-makers to understand the balance between the demand and supply for different transportation modes and enables testing of different project alternatives.

Dr. Martchouk has extensive experience developing and applying travel demand models at county, MPO, and state levels. She has worked with both trip-based and activity-based models throughout the country.
