Data analysis is an important  component of most transportation planning analyses. Some commonly used datasets include travel surveys, census data, and transportation network data. Additionally, Big Data may include cellular phone location information and other GPS data.

Dr. Martchouk is an expert at analyzing different datasets including passenger and freight travel surveys, land use databases, and highway performance measurement data. She has experience using StreetLight, Airsage, Strava and INRIX data to update and validate travel demand models. Dr. Martchouk also has expertise in statistical analysis and econometric modeling including mode choice model development.
